Lightroom Workflow
Eduardo Angel, Instructor

A two-day weekend workshop in Wilton, CT

Saturday February 28 and Sunday March 1, 2009
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day

Lightroom Workflow: Shoot it, Work it, Back it up!

This informative and fun workshop shows how to effectively organize, enhance, and protect your images.
We'll cover the complete overview, from capture to output. The magic of Lightroom is that you shoot more,
shoot RAW, and save hard drive space.

You've probably been asking yourself questions like these:
- What is a digital workflow and how do I know if I’m doing all the right steps?
- Where are those images I took six months ago?
- I know I have pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge, but where are they?
- How long will it take me to find them?
- How do I get a print that looks exactly like what I see on my monitor?
- I know how important backup is. So, why don’t I do it?

The answers to the above (and more) will be explained to you in a clear and workable format, removing the mystery and indecision of how to effectively work with the Lightroom software.

Some of the topics included in this workshop: importing and exporting images, adjustments for color, contrast, exposure and sharpness, organizing your Library, the Modules of LR, working in Grid and Loupe views, flagging, rating and labeling, keywording, converting to black and white, toning, creative color, slideshows and web galleries, comparing images, white balance, when to use Lightroom or Photoshop, output, color management, backup, and much, much more.

Participants will work with images created during workshop shooting sessions and previously created RAW files.

This workshop is essential to all photographers!

*Laptop computers and Adobe Lightroom will be required for this class. Adobe Lightroom is available
as a 30-day free trial from www.adobe.com. If you want to shoot tethered, please make sure you have the shooting software for your camera installed on your computer.
